6 FL Towns Named Among Best Places To Celebrate July 4th
One Florida town joined the likes of Las Vegas, New York City and Los Angeles to be named in the top 10 best places to celebrate July 4th.
Florida has one of the top 10 best places to celebrate the Fourth of July this year, experts say in a WalletHub report released on June 24.
Celebrations around the country recall not only the events leading up to the adoption of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, but also look forward and aim to make the 4th of July weekend a massive, multigenerational cultural moment focused on community connections and charitable giving.
This year, the annual holiday is being commemorated with America 250, recognizing the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

“The 4th of July is one of the most beloved holidays in America, allowing many of us to not only celebrate our independence but also get a day off of work and gather together with family and friends," WalletHub analyst Chip Lupo said in the report. "The best cities for the holiday help you make the most of your day, with affordable food options, good weather, fun recreation choices and long, spectacular fireworks shows.”
In Florida, Orlando is the third-best place to celebrate Independence Day, according to WalletHub, a personal finance company.

Orlando joined the likes of Las Vegas, New York City and Los Angeles in the top 10 with an overall score of 63.25.
Here's how Orlando fared in the individual rankings:

Other towns in the Florida that made the list include Miami (No. 19), Jacksonville (No. 50), St. Petersburg (No. 61), Tampa (No. 65) and Hialeah (No. 97).
The impending July 4th holiday is set to rake in $9.4 billion in spending on food and more than $4 billion in spending on beer and wine, according to WalletHub data.
More than 150 million hot dogs are eaten on July 4th yearly, and the value of imported American flags total $3.9 million, data showed.
In 2025, about $2.95 billion was shelled out for fireworks, according to data.
Airports and roads are expected to be busy this holiday season. AAA projects 72.2 million Americans will travel at least 50 miles from home during the July 4 travel period.
