Cop Charged In Crash That Killed 6-Year-Old Tampa Girl: FL Troopers
A Temple Terrace police officer was driving more than 100 mph before a crash that killed a Tampa child, FL troopers said.

TAMPA, FL — A Temple Terrace police officer was arrested Thursday in connection with an April 15 crash on East Fowler Avenue that left a 6-year-old Tampa girl dead, authorities said.
Officer Zachary Mason Krug, 25, was driving “at speeds in excess of 100 mph” when the crash happened, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.

After impact, both vehicles rotated, coming to a stop in a ditch just to the north of the road.
