4 Killed, Including 2 Children, In FL Shooting Spree: What We Know
Police are asking for the public's assistance after two shootings killed a mother, two of her young children and her mother in Plant City.
PLANT CITY, FL — Police say they need the public's help after two early morning shootings killed four people, including a 4-month-old baby, Sunday in Plant City.
The first shooting happened in the 300 block of West Tever Street, where officers found three children and their 28-year-old mother, Plant City Police said.
A 4-month-old infant and a 4-year-old toddler who were found with gunshot wounds were pronounced dead at the scene, police said. A third child was not physically injured, police said.

Their mother was found alive suffering from gunshot wounds but was later pronounced dead at a hospital, police said.
Officers were then led to the 900 block of North Burton Street, where they located the children's 55-year-old maternal grandmother dead from a gunshot wound, police said.

A motive in the shooting was not revealed, and police did not identify a suspect.
Police say there was foot traffic between North Burton and West Tever at the time.
In connection with the case, police say they are asking residents and businesses to:
- Review any available surveillance or doorbell camera footage from 5:30-7 a.m. Sunday; and
- Check for any video showing a woman walking with three young children in the vicinity of North Burton, West Tever and nearby.
