Tampa Bay Ferry gets $850,000 federal investment for dock in St. Pete (fox13news.com) — A new $850,000 federal investment is helping bring back year-round Tampa–St. Pete ferry service, with the Tampa-side dock planned near the Convention Center. Local transit leaders say the service will ease traffic and connect Tampa residents more easily to downtown St. Petersburg, beaches, and regional bus routes, with refurbished boats and a temporary dock expected to be ready later this year.
