Through layering, wetting, and manipulating paper by hand, you’ll discover the beauty of organic patterns, tactile textures, and creative expression.
In this beginner friendly workshop, you will learn about the history and cultural significance of Joomchi while exploring its unique techniques that can be incorporated into mixed-media works, book arts, fiber arts, collage, and other creative projects. You will create your own one-of-a-kind artwork to take home and gain new skills to continue exploring in your own artistic practice.
