Man Injured In Shooting At St. Pete Apartment Complex, Police Say
Residents at a St. Petersburg apartment complex reported hearing early morning gunshots before a wounded man was taken to a hospital.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL — Police are investigating an early Tuesday morning shooting at a St. Petersburg apartment complex that left one person injured.
Residents at The Meadows Apartments, 870 117 Terrace North, reported hearing gunshots around 1:30 a.m., St. Pete police said in a news release.
A 911 caller then said that they were taking a man with a gunshot wound to the hospital.

St. Petersburg Fire Rescue met the vehicle with the wounded man at the Circle K gas station at 10600 Roosevelt Blvd. N. and brought him to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
The investigation is ongoing and no suspect has been taken into custody.
