• Man Found Dead in Water Near St. Petersburg Pier – [your]NEWS (yournews.com) — Police are investigating after a man's body was found in the water near the St. Petersburg Pier on Tuesday afternoon, with marine patrol officers recovering him and turning the case over to the medical examiner. Authorities have not released his identity or cause of death, and say there's currently no indication of foul play as they await examination results.
   

• Ongoing Tierra Verde marina fight shifts to parking claim (stpetecatalyst.com) — A neighborhood group is asking St. Petersburg's Development Review Commission to reconsider its approval of Greenleaf Capital's Tierra Verde Marina redevelopment, arguing the city miscounted parking by relying on wet slips that must stay public under a state lease. While state regulators review public-access issues at the marina, the May 6 city approval—allowing taller buildings and expanded boat storage—remains in effect for now.
   

• Water transportation between St. Pete and Tampa to resume once again (wfla.com) — Year-round ferry service between St. Petersburg and Tampa is getting closer, with two refurbished vessels expected to run seven days a week once Coast Guard inspections are complete. Fares are planned at $10 for adults and $5 for seniors, aiming to ease bridge congestion and give locals and visitors another way to reach events on both sides of the bay.
