St Pete Sunrise Rotary Continues Fall Programs Into September

Speaking of Shout-Outs, Steve Lampar from the St Pete Impact Club (front row, second from left in the photo below) orchestrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for PARC’s Center’s designation as a Legacy Business with a lasting impact of service and excellence in our city. Happily, PARC continues to grow and touch even more of our neighbors! Congratulations to Steve and the PARC staff, especially the one with over 44 years of service, for their dedication!

We’ve got a busy, exciting week ahead! We begin by welcoming a team from the Skyway District to talk about all of the growth that’s occurring on the South Side, especially on 34th Street S. I remember when we moved here just a few years ago, we had to cycle to Gulfport to find a coffee shop…wow, what a difference a few years makes! Join us for breakfast at the yacht club Tuesday morning to learn more...and bring a curious friend!

While you’re at it, let's meet up on Wednesday, September 23rd at Rollin Oats Cafe, located at 2842 DR MLK J St N, at 6:15 pm for our September Social.

And to cap it off, don’t forget our service project with Building Beds on Saturday, September 26th at 9 am at 6690 Crosswinds Dr N, St. Petersburg, FL. I look forward to seeing you there and working together!

The Club will start celebrating our Students of the Month from Northeast High School on the second Tuesday of October (our usual day of the month in the coming academic year). But to get a head start and learn more about the great programs the school offers, Rachel, the school's MTSS Coach and AVID Chair, has invited us to attend their Application Program Fair on October 1st!
