• Parents continue raising concerns over school closings in Pinellas County (baynews9.com) — Parents at Tarpon Springs Fundamental Elementary are pushing back against a Pinellas County proposal to close their campus and move students into a new K–8 setup at Tarpon Springs Middle. District leaders have delayed the next round of community meetings until after an Oct. 6 workshop, with final decisions expected Oct. 13, giving families a short window to influence the plan.
