• Cops: Man mad at speeders gets arrested (yoursun.com) — A Venice-area resident was arrested after allegedly confronting a driver he believed was speeding on Seaboard Avenue and throwing an object at her windshield. Deputies say the 76-year-old man then reached into her vehicle and grabbed her arm before she drove off and called law enforcement. He faces a misdemeanor battery charge and has a court date set for mid-May.
