• Wellington Engineer: New Roundabouts Will Improve Traffic And Safety In Village (gotowncrier.com) — Two new roundabouts now under construction in Wellington—at Lake Worth Road and 120th Avenue South, and at Village Park on Pierson Road—are aimed at easing congestion and improving safety. Village Engineer Jonathan Reinsvold says the multimillion‑dollar projects will add better drainage, lighting, landscaping, and safer pedestrian access, with phased reopenings stretching into next year and early 2027.
   

• Wellington Youth Flag Football Coach Charged With Battery By Strangulation, PBSO Says (bocapost.com) — A youth flag football coach from Lake Worth has been charged with felony battery by strangulation after deputies say he put an opposing player in a chokehold during a postgame fight at Greenview Shores Park in Wellington. Court records show he was arrested Oct. 28, released on bond, and ordered to avoid the victim and youth sports while the case proceeds.
