DISC Surgery Center at Palm Beach Now Open

An elite team of spine, total joint and orthopedic specialists are treating patients in the new, state-of-the-art facility.

DISC Surgery Center at Palm Beach is now officially open, with Drs. Jason M. Cuéllar and Philip Saville performing the first two procedures in the state-of-the-art, outpatient spine and orthopedic facility. Dr. Cuéllar performed a minimally invasive lumbar foraminotomy while Dr. Saville performed a lumbar artificial disc replacement. Both motion-preserving procedures were successful, and patients were discharged within hours of their surgeries to start recovery from the comfort of their own homes.

Drs. Cuéllar and Saville are two members of an elite team of physician partners now treating patients at DISC Palm Beach. Leaders in their fields, each embraces DISC’s commitment to motion preservation and minimally invasive techniques that get patients back to their active lives more quickly and safely.

DISC Palm Beach was purpose-built to deliver advanced outpatient spine and total joint care utilizing ultramodern robotics, image guidance and minimally invasive surgical technologies. At 15,618 square feet, the surgery center houses three operating suites, seven preoperative rooms and five PACU bays. DISC Palm Beach is fully licensed in the state of Florida.
