• 9 BUI arrests, no boating deaths reported over Labor Day weekend (fox5atlanta.com) — Over Labor Day weekend, game wardens in the Acworth region recorded two boating under the influence arrests as part of a statewide safety push that fortunately saw no drownings or boating deaths. Across Georgia's lakes, there were nine BUI arrests, three boating incidents, and just one reported injury, underscoring stepped-up enforcement on popular waterways like nearby Lake Allatoona.
