• Margaret Patricia (Lennon) O'Neill's love for her family shined bright (themonroesun.com) — A beloved mother, grandmother, and retired language arts teacher, Margaret Patricia "Peggie" O'Neill passed away in Alpharetta on October 1 at nearly 90, after years of substitute teaching locally well into her 80s. Her family recalls her deep love of learning, legendary creativity, and adventurous travels that took her to more than 40 countries, including Antarctica at age 80. A celebration of her life will be held later in Kingston, New York, and friends are invited to honor her through donations to causes she cherished.
