Attempted Murder Suspect Arrested In South Fulton
Police have released video footage of a police chase and arrest of a man they say was sought on an intent to murder charge in South Fulton.

SOUTH FULTON, GA — A man who officers sought on an intent to murder charge is in jail, and South Fulton Police on Wednesday released video camera footage of his arrest.
Police said they arrested Deonte Shields after being tipped off that he was at an Old National Highway condominium complex Monday. They say Shields was wanted in connection with an attempted murder.
They did not fully detail what led to the charges against Shields but said he was driving a stolen F-150 when officers encountered him. He was accused of leading officers on a police chase, which police say is depicted in body camera and dash camera footage.
