The rankings draw on federal data plus student and alumni reviews, and now factor in student wellness and "future readiness," including career services and exposure to emerging technologies like artificial intelligence.
   

2. New Egg Eatery To 'Crack' Into GA Restaurant Scene (patch.com) — Atlanta food lovers will soon get a new breakfast option as Eggslut prepares to open this fall along the Atlanta Beltline's Eastside trail at Krog Street Market. The chef-driven spot, led locally by partners Eshaan Attawala and Shehzaan Chunara, will serve egg-focused dishes like the Fairfax sandwich and the Slut, aiming to become a flagship East Coast location and a staple of the city's booming dining scene.
   

3. More than football: Aflac kickoff game supports children battling cancer (wsbtv.com) — Mercedes-Benz Stadium is hosting Saturday's Aflac Kickoff Game, which doubles as a major fundraiser for the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Organizers expect to surpass previous years' donations through ticket sales, a 50-50 raffle, and on-field recognition of patients and families, building on millions already raised by Atlanta media partners and fans.

Three additional measles cases confirmed in Georgia (wavy.com) — A measles outbreak that began at a metro Atlanta daycare has now grown to eight confirmed cases statewide this month, with 14 total in Georgia this year. Health officials urge Atlanta-area families to check MMR vaccination status, watch for symptoms like fever and rash, and call ahead before visiting any clinic or hospital if exposure is suspected.
