• Blue Ridge man charged with murder in church shooting (nowgeorgia.com) — Blue Ridge residents should know that a local man has been charged with murder after another Blue Ridge man was fatally shot at Bethel Baptist Church in nearby McCaysville. State and county investigators say the suspect was arrested at the scene, the victim died there, and the case remains active as authorities pursue an autopsy and further investigation.
