Trammell Crow-Led Team Delivers 686K-SF Atlanta-Area Warehouse Facility (connectcre.com) — A new three-building Buford Creek Business Center has just opened at Lanier Islands Parkway and Big Creek Road, bringing 686,400 square feet of warehouse space to Buford. The industrial park, minutes from I-985, includes a large cross-dock building and two rear-load facilities now being marketed for sale or lease, potentially adding jobs and business activity close to home.
   

2. Texas Tech recruit nation's No. 1 overall player Jalen Brewster to make season debut (wreckemred.com) — Buford football fans will see top national recruit Jalen Brewster finally suit up for Buford High School after being cleared to make his senior season debut tomorrow night. The five-star defensive lineman, a Texas Tech commit, transferred from Cedar Hill in Texas to join the Wolves, adding even more star power to a program already recognized as a national powerhouse.
   

3. HCSO: South Hall road rage ends with jailing of Gwinnett Co. man (wgtjradio.com) — Hall County deputies say a suspected road rage incident ended when an Uber carrying three people was rammed on the I-985 ramp to Friendship Road, with the shaken victims later meeting officers on West Moreno Street in Buford. A Sugar Hill man faces multiple aggravated assault charges after allegedly striking the car and trying to reach a passenger before the driver escaped and called 911.
   

4. 'Star Wars: A New Hope' re-releasing in IMAX 70mm. What we know (thenewstribune.com) — Buford moviegoers will be able to see the newly restored Star Wars: A New Hope in IMAX 70mm at Regal Mall of Georgia, one of a limited number of theaters nationwide. The special-format screenings begin February 19, 2027, giving local fans plenty of time to plan for a higher-resolution, expanded-frame experience unlike a standard showing.
