• East Point police find 17 pounds of pot in murder arrest (fox5atlanta.com) — East Point residents should know police and the FBI arrested a murder suspect in the city while seizing 17 pounds of marijuana, promethazine with codeine, and a Draco pistol. Investigators haven’t released the suspect’s name or murder case details yet, but Chief Shawn Buchanan says officers will keep up intensive patrols to protect the community.
