• Victim of dog attack remains in hospital; Spalding County Animal Control investigating (griffindailynews.com) — A 14-year-old girl remains hospitalized after a serious Rottweiler attack near Parham and Anglin roads in Griffin, and Spalding County Animal Control has now classified the dog as vicious. County officials say the investigation is ongoing, with multiple code violations under review, while also praising the quick actions of the victim’s brother and a school bus driver who intervened.
