Because Gwinnett is designated a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, the grant could also support prevention and treatment programs, potentially changing how the county tackles illegal drugs in your community.

• Fugitive suspect in Georgia mom's silicone injection murder captured 17 years later after DMV slipup: cops (timesnewsnetworks.com) — A woman accused in the 2009 silicone injection death of Loganville mother Eyanna Moore is now jailed in Gwinnett County after being captured in Texas following a driver's license identity-fraud investigation. She faces a felony murder charge, with a bond hearing set for Oct. 22 at the Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center, as Moore's family prepares to attend hearings and seek justice.
