Will Pauley is a Cherokee County Sheriff’s Deputy. His wife Leslie is a fourth grade teacher at Cherokee Charter Academy. On September 16th, they were overjoyed to welcome twin sons Matthew and Nicholas into the world. But doctors soon discovered a problem with Matthew’s heart, called Critical Aortic Stenosis. Despite heroic efforts from doctors at Egleston Children’s Hospital, Matthew passed away on October 28th. The Pauley Family now copes with the loss of their beautiful son and the steep cost of Matthew’s medical care and funeral. A Go Fund Me account was established for those who can help.
