• Macon man, former Wilkinson County police officer charged with financial transaction card fraud, GBI says (13wmaz.com) — Ivey residents should know that a former Ivey police officer has been charged after investigators say a city credit card was used for personal gas purchases around Georgia. The GBI says the officer, hired in October 2025, is now jailed in Wilkinson County as their investigation continues, and they’re asking anyone with information to contact their Milledgeville office.
