ALPHARETTA, GA — Chabad of North Fulton has received a Challenge Grant from the Zalik Foundation Fund, launching the organization's "Last Mile Campaign" to complete its new Camp Sports & Recreation Complex. With construction nearing completion and most of the funding raised, the grant will match every dollar donated, up to $150,000, creating a unique opportunity for supporters to help bring the project across the finish line.

The Camp Sports & Recreation Complex is being built to serve Camp Gan Israel, Chabad's summer camp program, which welcomes hundreds of children each year from across the community. The project includes new recreational and athletic facilities designed to enhance the camp experience and provide expanded opportunities for sports, outdoor activities, and special programming. Construction is currently in its final phase, with more than 90 percent of the project already completed. Once completed, the complex will significantly expand the camp's recreational offerings and outdoor programming.

"The generosity of the Zalik Foundation Fund comes at a pivotal moment," said Rabbi Hirshy Minkowicz, Director of Chabad of North Fulton. "After years of planning, building, and community support, we are now approaching the finish line. This challenge grant gives our community the opportunity to double the impact of every donation and help complete a project that will serve campers for many years to come."
