• Cobb County middle school launches club to reward academic growth (11alive.com) — Pine Mountain Middle School in Kennesaw has launched an "Altitude Club" that rewards students who show academic growth and score in at least the 66th percentile on Georgia Milestones. Qualifying students earn a Black Card that grants access to a VIP outdoor lounge and free gourmet popcorn, all aimed at encouraging a growth mindset rather than competition with classmates.
