• Cobb school board approves contracts for high schools renovations (ledger-enquirer.com) — Cobb's school board has approved nearly $24.8 million in renovations for Kennesaw Mountain High School, plus a parking lot upgrade at the district warehouse in Kennesaw, all funded by the countywide E-SPLOST sales tax. Kennesaw families can expect new HVAC, restrooms, security upgrades, and a construction lab that expands hands-on career training opportunities for local students over the next few years.
   

• 28 New Businesses Licensed in Unincorporated Cobb County (cobbcountycourier.com) — Several new businesses tied to Kennesaw addresses just received Cobb County licenses, including gardening, homecare, consulting, and a scrapbooking shop. Residents may soon see these services operating locally, alongside many other new contractors, restaurants, and professional firms licensed across unincorporated Cobb County between September 13 and 20.
