Don’t miss The Dynamic Les DeMerle Hittin’ The Blue Notes Band playing exciting original arrangements of the classic Blue Notes Records repertoire including “The Sidewinder”, “Killer Joe”, “God Bless The Child” and more. You’ll feel like you are in the front row at Birdland as the band transports you to 52nd St. and Broadway in New York City. Also, enjoy the classic jazz of Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Billie Holiday, a tribute to the genius of Ray Charles and a special preview of the many styles to be presented at the 2026 Amelia Island Jazz Festival.
This is a hot show that hits all the cool blue notes, with Les DeMerle-Drums/Vocals, Bonnie Eisele-Vocals, Paul Tafoya-Trumpet and Flugelhorn, Matt Vance and Ajax McDonell-Saxes, Doug Matthews-Keyboard, Ricky Ravelo-Bass.
