• Callaway Foundation seeks approval for streetscape project (lagrangenews.com) — Downtown LaGrange could soon see a revamped streetscape and renewed life at the former Loy’s Office Supply building on Main Street, if the city partners with the Callaway Foundation. Foundation leaders pitched wider sidewalks, new lighting, and pavers to extend the downtown feel from Wild Leap to Sweetland Amphitheatre, alongside plans for new restaurant, retail, office, and future housing. 
• LaGrange police arrest suspect with nearly a dozen outstanding felony warrants (wrbl.com) — LaGrange police arrested a suspect wanted on nearly a dozen felony warrants after an encounter where he allegedly gave a false name and struggled with officers. The man was booked into Troup County Jail, and investigators are asking anyone with additional information to contact a named detective or submit anonymous tips through the Tip411 system.
• LaGrange volleyball tops Callaway (lagrangenews.com) — LaGrange High’s volleyball team swept county rival Callaway in straight sets on their home court, fueled by dominant net play from Breanna Reynolds and Sydney Snyder.
