• Update: 4 fatalities include 2 pedestrians on Georgia roads before end of 2026 Labor Day travel (monroelocal.org) — A pedestrian was killed early Labor Day at Loganville Highway and Brand Road, just outside the Loganville city limits, in a crash now under investigation by Gwinnett County Police. State officials report four traffic deaths so far this holiday period and are urging Loganville-area drivers to slow down, buckle up, avoid distractions, and plan extra time as heavy Labor Day traffic continues.
