MARIETTA, GA — A 19-year-old Marietta man is facing charges after he was accused of shooting at a vehicle that carried his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend Monday.Officers responded around midnight to a shots fired call at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Bells Ferry Road, Marietta Police said.When they arrived, police said they found multiple shell casings and a 16-year-old girl who told them her ex-boyfriend had just shot at a vehicle in which she was a passenger. Officers found two vehicles with bullet holes, police said. They added no one was injured though multiple rounds were fired.A warrant was secured to charge Khalil Barnett with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and first-degree cruelty to children, police said. Marietta and Cobb County Sheriff SWAT teams partnered and arrested Barnett around 8 a.m., police said. He was booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, police said.
