• Milton council OKs $10M settlement in fatal crash case (appenmedia.com) — Milton's City Council has approved a $10 million settlement with the parents of Joshua Chang, a Yale student killed in a 2016 crash involving a concrete planter off Batesville Road. Most of the payout will come from the city's insurers, but Milton will cover about $3.33 million, resolving a long-running legal battle over the incident.

• About 240 FROGS set to begin cadet life (ung.edu) — A University of North Georgia senior from Milton, Nate Rea, played a key role in organizing FROG Week, the intensive orientation for incoming cadets. Working alongside other student leaders, he helped coordinate logistics, communication, and planning so new cadets could start Corps life with strong support and a smooth introduction.
