• Neighbors push for changes to DeKalb County intersection after deadly crash (atlantanewsfirst.com) — Neighbors in North Druid Hills are pushing DeKalb County and state transportation officials to fix a dangerous stretch of LaVista Road near North Druid Hills Road and the Toco Hills shopping center after a contractor was killed there last week. A growing petition urges an urgent engineering review, possible traffic light, and other safety changes, while officials say they're now analyzing crash data and community concerns.
