One new Eagle, sponsored by Roswell United Methodist Church, built and stained six picnic tables for a learning community. The group passed their Eagle boards of review in late September in Alpharetta.
   

• Roswell Couple dies in I-85 Crash in Franklin County on Saturday (wnegradio.com) — A Roswell couple in their early 60s died after their car hydroplaned on a wet stretch of I-85 in Franklin County Saturday afternoon, according to state troopers. Both were taken to a local hospital, where they later died from their injuries. Investigators say impairment is not suspected, and next of kin have been notified.
