• MARTA to update more than 30 routes, schedules; 5 already changed (wsbtv.com) — Stone Mountain riders who use MARTA's Route 117 Stone Mountain / Panola Road will see the bus realigned to a different stop and dwelling longer at Panola Park and Ride, affecting timing and connections. The agency is also tweaking schedules on more than 30 routes systemwide, which can change Mobility paratransit eligibility areas. If you depend on MARTA, it's important to double-check your route's new timetable. 
• Carolina Panthers special-teamer Thomas Incoom wants more (thecharlottepost.com) — A Stone Mountain native, Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Incoom is pushing to move beyond special-teams duties and earn more snaps on defense this season.
