On August 28, we’re screening The Guest: Aleppo to Istanbul, a moving drama that follows 10-year-old Lena, her toddler sister, and their neighbor Meryem as they flee Syria for Turkey.Through Lena’s longing to return home and Meryem’s hope of reaching Europe, the film offers a deeply human look at displacement, loss, and hope. Written and directed by Turkish filmmaker Andaç Haznedaroğlu, the film features real-life Syrian refugees in supporting roles. Interested in learning Arabic? We have in-person and online classes for both adults and kids, catering all levels. We will be hosting an Open House to help explain our Arabic Language Classes program on August 8th, from 12pm to 3pm, so be sure to pass by.
Classes will be held in person here in Atlanta in our main Chamblee location, or online from wherever you want! Kids also have 2 location options between Chamblee and Roswell! Discover the sights, sounds, flavors, and traditions of the Arab world at the 19th Annual Atlanta Arab Festival. Enjoy authentic cuisine, live music and dance, artisan vendors, cultural exhibits, family activities, henna, Arabic calligraphy, and hands-on experiences in a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Free admission, with more than 8,000 attendees expected.

Only 150 tickets available! 2-Youth Flag Holder Experience $250 Give your child an unforgettable experience! 24 youth, ages 12–16, will have the opportunity to carry flags onto the field before the game. Package includes 2 community tickets + 1 Flag Holder Experience.
