• Georgia Power to strengthen Tybee Island power lines and poles (wtoc.com) — Georgia Power is starting a major upgrade of power lines and poles across Tybee Island this month, aiming to boost reliability and storm resilience through early 2027. Work will first affect Butler Avenue and nearby southside streets, then move to Second Avenue, Van Horne, Meddin and other northside roads, so expect construction zones and watch for mailed or emailed notices about any impacts.
