• Some Maui Bus services in Kahului, Wailuku to be rerouted, halted during June 20 parade (mauinow.com) — Kahului bus riders should plan for canceled stops and delays on June 20 as several Kahului Loop and Reverse Loop routes pause key pickups during the Nā Kamehameha Commemorative Pāʻū Parade. From 9 to 11:45 a.m., select stops near Maui Arts & Cultural Center, UH Maui College and Roselani Place will be skipped, while other routes may detour and run late. 
• Maui police partner with Home Depot loss prevention for ‘Operation Barcode Bandits' targeting shoplifting (mauinow.com) — Maui police teamed up with Home Depot for a two-day “Operation Barcode Bandits” crackdown on shoplifting that led to multiple arrests, including a 65-year-old Kahului man. Plainclothes officers and loss-prevention staff targeted theft and related drug and property crimes, with police urging local businesses and residents to partner with them to improve safety islandwide.
