• Jade Palicio named Hawaii High School Rodeo Queen (thegardenisland.com subscription) — Kalaheo’s own Jade Pacilio has been crowned the 2026–27 Hawaii High School Rodeo Association Queen, leading a strong contingent of Kauai riders heading to national competitions this summer. Local paniolo from Kauai, including Pacilio, will compete in Nebraska and Oklahoma, and community members can help with travel costs through donations to the HHSRA-Kauai District.
