• Some Maui Buses in Kahului, Wailuku to be rerouted, halted during June 20 parade (einpresswire.com) — Bus riders in Wailuku should plan ahead for June 20, when the Nā Kamehameha Commemorative Pāʻū Parade will shut down several Maui Bus stops on the Wailuku Loop and Reverse Loop routes from 9 to 11:45 a.m. Key Kanaloa Avenue, Maui Memorial Medical Center, and Maui Lani Parkway stops will be skipped, and riders should expect delays as Kahului routes are also adjusted. 
• Kepaniwai Heritage Gardens in 'Iao reopens after storm repair work (einpresswire.com) — Kepaniwai Heritage Gardens near ʻĪao, just mauka of Wailuku, has reopened after March storms eroded the Wailuku River bank and undercut two picnic pavilions. Those pavilions stay closed for now, so visitors should obey warning signs and watch for remaining hazards while enjoying the undamaged cultural pavilions.
