• Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award State Winners Announced (nwcaonline.com) — American Falls High School senior wrestler Nathan Gugelman II has been named Idaho’s winner of the prestigious Dave Schultz High School Excellence Award, recognizing his achievements on the mat, in the classroom, and in the community. The award honors top senior wrestlers nationwide, with regional and national winners to be announced later this month.
   

• Cover your plants and protect your pipes. A freeze warning has been issued for much of east Idaho. (eastidahonews.com) — American Falls is under a National Weather Service freeze warning early this morning, with temperatures expected to plunge as low as 18 to 22 degrees. Residents should cover outdoor plants and protect exposed pipes between 3 a.m. and 10 a.m., as the hard freeze could damage vegetation and plumbing across much of eastern Idaho.
