The project will add classrooms, offices, and gathering space for worship, youth programs, and community events, with construction continuing through the year while regular services remain underway.

• BCSO clarifies status on DUI felon (bonnercountydailybee.com) — Boundary County officials in Bonners Ferry have successfully blocked the transfer of a repeat DUI offender to a lower-security community reentry center because of an existing immigration detainer. The man, whose drunk driving crash near Highland Flats Road seriously injured a woman, is serving a 15-year sentence for aggravated DUI and must complete at least six years before parole eligibility. Officials say the detainer was in place since his September 2025 Bonners Ferry arrest.
