• New Valley View moves forward with groundbreaking ceremony (bonnersferryherald.com) — A new Valley View Elementary School in Bonners Ferry is officially underway, with construction expected to finish in time for the 2027–28 school year. Local students, longtime alumni, and state leaders joined Boundary County officials to celebrate the groundbreaking, funded largely through a state rural school facilities program. Families can already register kindergartners for the 2026–27 school year through the district website.
