• After facing closure, Idaho Reptile Zoo keeps rescuing animals and educating families (kivitv.com) — Garden City’s Idaho Reptile Zoo, now near Chinden and 37th, has survived a near-closure and continues rescuing reptiles while teaching local families and school groups every day. Supported by community donations, the nonprofit partners with state agencies, cares for invasive red-eared sliders, and welcomes visitors seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
• Eslabón Armado announces 2026 Amor Nocturno Tour (themusicuniverse.com) — Eslabón Armado is bringing their 2026 Amor Nocturno Tour to Garden City on July 29, with a show at Revolution Concert House and Event Center. The regional Mexican superstars are launching a major North American run, and tickets go on general sale Friday, June 12 at 10 a.m. local time, giving local fans a chance to see one of the genre’s biggest acts live.
• Fans say Athletic Club Boise Beer Garden experience fell short, club addresses concerns (kivitv.com) — Athletic Club Boise’s Garden City stadium Beer Garden has frustrated some season-ticket holders who say early games lacked promised amenities and clear views, but the club says it has since added risers, TVs, extra seating, and a 21-plus area. Leaders acknowledge the rocky start and are continuing to gather feedback from Garden City fans to guide further improvements this season.
