• 71-year-old woman seriously injured after being thrown from horse in Idaho backcountry (abc4.com) — A 71-year-old woman was seriously injured and airlifted after being thrown from her horse in the backcountry near Hailey, prompting a multi-day search for her missing horse, Auggie. Blaine County deputies, search and rescue members, and a private helicopter eventually found Auggie unhurt several miles from the accident site.
