Bonneville Grid Kid Gold Team donates 104 blankets to EIRMC's Ronald McDonald Family Room (localnews8.com) — Young football players from the Bonneville Grid Kid Gold Team just delivered 104 new blankets to the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, helping families staying with hospitalized loved ones feel more at home. Their annual service project highlights how local youth are learning to support a community that regularly turns out to cheer for them.
   

2. Chukars add Pioneer League honors as Sam Canton named MVP and Justin Trimble tabbed top rookie (eastidahonews.com) — Idaho Falls baseball fans can celebrate as Chukars star Sam Canton has been named Pioneer Baseball League Most Valuable Player after a record-setting season at the plate. Teammate Justin Trimble also earned Rookie of the Year honors, capping a standout year for the hometown club and giving local supporters plenty to be proud of.
   

3. Two-Vehicle Injury Crash in Bonneville County (idaho.gov) — A two-vehicle crash Monday evening at US-26 and North 45th East, just east of Idaho Falls, sent both drivers to the hospital and blocked the intersection for about 90 minutes. Idaho Falls Fire and EMS assisted Idaho State Police at the scene, and investigators are still working to determine exactly what happened.
   

4. Landscaping taking place at Teton River Idaho Temple (rexburgstandardjournal.com) — Residents in eastern Idaho, including Idaho Falls, may be interested as landscaping and construction move ahead on Rexburg's new Teton River Idaho Temple, which will become the state's ninth. The article also highlights the long history of the Idaho Falls Temple, built in 1945, connecting today's work to generations of local Latter-day Saint families.
   

5. Mental health advocate's 3,300-mile cross-country run passes through Idaho Falls (postregister.com) — Idaho Falls was one of the key waypoints for a Denver-based mental health counselor running 3,300 miles across the country to raise awareness for teen and athlete mental health. He and his fiancée recently passed through town on their Boston-to-Oregon journey, sharing their message and encouraging people to seek support and counseling resources when they need help.
