Catch the Idaho Liberty Bell Tour this week in Idaho Falls, Ammon (idahopress.com) — Idaho Falls residents can see the traveling Idaho Liberty Bell at several local stops this week, including the Museum of Idaho on Thursday and the Farmers Market on Saturday. The bell will also appear at Sugar Mills Park and the Bonneville County Fairgrounds Friday as part of school events and the Idaho Freedom Festival, all tied to Idaho's America250 celebration.
   

2. Bonneville County coroner identifies man killed in officer-involved shooting (localnews8.com) — A 43-year-old Idaho Falls man, Marcus Griffin, has been identified as the person killed in an officer-involved shooting near Lincoln after deputies responded to a suicidal-threat call. Idaho Falls Ambulance and Idaho Falls Police joined regional agencies in the response and investigation, which is now being handled by the East Idaho Critical Incident Task Force led by Jefferson County authorities.
   

3. Kick Off Your Sunday Shoes: Center Stage Theatre announces Footloose for Summer 2027 (localnews8.com) — Center Stage Theatre in Idaho Falls is bringing the high-energy musical Footloose to town for its Summer 2027 season, with performances running July 16 through August 28. Local theatergoers can expect big 80s hits, returning director-choreographer Danny Hansen, and online access to performance schedules, showtimes, and ticket purchases.
   

4. Navy SEAL who killed bin Laden headlines Idaho Falls 9/11 tribute (idahostatejournal.com) — Idaho Falls hosted a major 9/11 tribute gala at the Mountain America Center, headlined by former Navy SEAL Rob O'Neill, who discussed his role in historic missions and the importance of family and service.
