• Idaho's DEQ suing McCall area sewer district for 12-year wastewater leak into Payette River (ktvb.com) — State environmental regulators are suing the McCall-area sewer district over alleged wastewater leaks into the North Fork of the Payette River that may have been ongoing for more than a decade. The case centers on a leaking storage pond once owned by the City of McCall, with potential fines and a required full pond drain and liner replacement expected this summer. 
• St Luke's introduces telehealth program for sexual assault survivors (ktvb.com) — McCall residents who experience sexual assault will soon have 24/7 access to telehealth-supported forensic exams at their local St. Luke’s hospital, rather than traveling to larger cities. The new SAFE-T system connects local clinicians with specialized Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners, aiming to improve evidence collection, survivor-centered care, and legal options across rural Idaho, including McCall.
