Simpson Advances Funding for Madison Memorial Hospital Radiology Expansion (house.gov) — Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg is in line for $750,000 in federal Community Project Funding to expand its radiology department, pending final budget approval. The money would pay for new CT, C-Arm, and ultrasound equipment plus construction, boosting emergency care and high-risk maternity services so more Upper Valley patients can get advanced imaging close to home.
   

• Local Eagle Scouts Complete Service Projects Benefiting Rexburg Parks (rexburgstandardjournal.com) — Three local members of Rexburg’s Troop 888 have just earned their Eagle Scout rank by tackling major improvement projects at Eagle Park and the Rexburg Municipal Legacy Golf Course. From building new picnic tables to refurbishing benches and repairing campground infrastructure, their work upgraded popular city recreation spots many residents use. Their projects also drew in dozens of volunteers and local business support.
   

• Idaho Supreme Court weighs cases at BYU-Idaho (localnews8.com) — Idaho Supreme Court justices brought three real cases to BYU–Idaho in Rexburg, giving locals and students a close-up look at how appeals are argued and decided. The justices heard disputes over domestic battery, an estate conflict, and public records fees, then stayed to answer questions about judicial independence, transparency, and the rule of law.
