• 'Suddenly in Command' training prepares boaters for emergencies (bonnercountydailybee.com) — A Coast Guard Auxiliary boating safety class is coming to the U.S. Forestry Building on Ontario Street in Sandpoint on May 2, helping locals be ready if a boat operator is suddenly incapacitated. For a small fee, families can learn basic vessel control and emergency decision-making tailored to Lake Pend Oreille boaters.
