1 Dead, 1 Critically Hurt In Rolling Meadows Crash: Police
Police said an overturned vehicle was involved in the two-car crash Tuesday near Algonquin Road and Magnolia Drive.
ROLLING MEADOWS, IL — One person was killed and another critically injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash involving an overturned vehicle in Rolling Meadows, police said.
Rolling Meadows police officers responded around 4:36 p.m. to the area of Algonquin Road and Magnolia Drive for a reported traffic crash.
Authorities said two vehicles and three total occupants were involved in the incident.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. Another person suffered critical injuries, while a third person was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Rolling Meadows Police Department, the Major Case Assistance Team’s Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Police said Algonquin Road between Barker Avenue and Route 53 was closed in both directions Thursday evening as investigators processed the scene. The closure was expected to continue into the evening and could be extended as the investigation remains active.
