The teen, described by police as a confirmed gang member, now faces multiple felony charges tied to the Aurora attack and a recent vehicle burglary investigation on the city's near west side.

Lawmakers seek answers as Mercy Aurora plans to suspend labor and delivery services (sangamonsun.com) — Mercy Medical Center in Aurora is set to suspend labor and delivery services on October 1, and local lawmakers are pressing state health officials for answers on how that will affect patients and staff. They're demanding details on emergency coverage, staffing, safety-net status, and whether Prime Healthcare is honoring commitments made when it took over the hospital, after nurses raised serious concerns about care and job losses.
   

3.
